Hi everyone and welcome to my blog ♥︎
I thought it was best I start with a bit about myself and the reason for starting this blog so you can get to know me and what I hope to share with you all.
My name is Dianna, I am 26 years old, married (to the most amazing man!), a Greek Australian and live in Melbourne, Australia. I am currently undertaking a PhD in Pubic Health and work as a University teacher and lecturer sessionally. I recently published an article on Greek Australian females and their participation in physical activity and had the opportunity to present my research at a sport and society conference in Hawaii in 2016.
Aside from all that, one of my main passions in life is health and fitness. Ever since beginning my instagram and reading up on research regarding the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, I have never looked back! I genuinely LOVE ♡ living a healthy and balanced lifestyle to the point where I can say, I never feel like I am missing out on anything.
So I created this blog to share with you all my journey to living the healthy life! I want to show you all that being healthy doesn’t mean that you need to feel restricted in food choices or that you have to workout for 2 hours every singe day. It’s about making realistic changes to your life which are both achievable and maintainable for you.
I hope that through my journey you will also come to choose to live a healthy life as I know for myself it was the best decision I ever made! 🌿
Another part of my life which is also important to me and coincides with maintaining my wellbeing is travel ✈︎ I absolutely love to travel as it brings me so much joy and opens my eyes to a whole different world 🌎 With both my husband and I having family in Italy and Greece, Europe almost feels like a second home to us!
Once I get my blog up and running I plan on providing some tips for staying healthy whilst travelling, and also hope to create a ‘travel blog’ where I will share my experiences of traveling overseas!
I hope that as you read my blog you find it useful or inspiring for your own lives.
